Jessica joined the team at Alphington Sports Medicine in 2011. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Monash University in 2008, completed her Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University and obtained the title of ‘Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist’ from the Australian Physiotherapy Association in 2016.
Jessica has extensive experience in elite sport, and has held a number of Physiotherapist roles including; Melbourne Boomers WNBL (Women’s National Basketball League) Team (2012 – 2024), Australian 3×3 Basketball Men’s & Women’s Teams (2019 – 2022), Australian U19 Women’s Basketball Team (2014 – 2019) and Jets Gymnastics Club (2011 – 2018). She also worked at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, covering Rhythmic Gymnastics and Netball.
Given Jessica’s experience, she has a keen interest in managing a wide range of sporting injuries, but is also equally passionate about treating everyday musculoskeletal issues, such as back and neck pain.
She is qualified in Dry Needling, Clinical Pilates and runs a number of our Group Exercise Classes.
Memberships: Australian Physiotherapy Association and Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy Group.
Availability: Mondays (8am-3pm), Tuesdays (8am-3pm), Thursdays (8am-3pm).
