Katharine Wrobel

Katharine holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University. She is passionate about strength training and exercise, and focusing on helping individuals build strength, move confidently, and live pain-free, so they can enjoy the activities they love.

With expertise in gym-based rehabilitation and Clinical Pilates, Katharine designs personalised programs to meet each client’s unique needs. She is also certified in the Good Living with Osteoarthritis Denmark (GLA:D) program, enabling her to create evidence-based rehabilitation plans for hip and knee osteoarthritis.

Katharine currently works as a Physiotherapist for the VFL State League and AFLW Umpires, providing treatment for running-related injuries, such as bone stress injuries, calf and achilles pain. She also has experience treating hip and knee conditions, including hip dysplasia, gluteal tendinopathy, femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), and ACL injuries.

Her sports physiotherapy background is diverse, with past roles including working with the Melbourne Knights Men’s NPL1 soccer team, as head physiotherapist for Noble Park Football Club, and supporting the Australian All Star Cheerleading Nationals and BMX World Cup.

Having previously worked as a personal trainer and gym instructor, Katharine has extensive knowledge in exercise prescription and rehabilitation, making her a strong advocate for physiotherapy in gym-based training. She is particularly passionate about working with clients involved in powerlifting, bodybuilding, CrossFit, and high-intensity training.

Memberships: Australian Physiotherapy Association including Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy group, Sports Medicine Australia.

Availability: Tuesdays (9.00am – 3.30pm), Thursdays (1.30-4.00pm), Fridays (am), Saturdays (am). Telehealth appointments available.
