Sean completed his undergraduate Physiotherapy Degree at Latrobe University, and is currently in the process of completing his Masters degree towards Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy titling (Master of Sports Medicine at Melbourne University).
Sean has extensive Physiotherapy experience in sporting and clinical settings both in the UK and Australia. Currently the Lead Academy Physiotherapist for A-League team Melbourne City FC, he previously worked in the Tottenham Hotspur Academy with the U9-18’s squads. His experience also includes working with elite netballers, VFL/AFLW, WNBL and rugby athletes.
Sean has a keen interest in the post-operative rehabilitation of knee injuries, particularly ACL reconstruction and meniscal repair. He has extensive experience in managing lower limb muscle injuries, adolescent lumbar stress fractures, and achilles tendon repairs. A recreational runner himself, he also enjoys assisting running athletes getting back out on the pavement!
Above all, Sean understands the often frustrating rehabilitation journey following an injury, and enjoys mapping out a clear management plan and pathway for return to play and performance for his patients.
Availability: Two mornings per week (days will vary so please check with reception or via Online Bookings).
