Samantha completed her Masters of Physiotherapy Practice following a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at Latrobe University. With an extensive background in Calisthenics, competing at both a state and national level, she has a deep understanding of the intricacies of rehabilitation in artistic sports. She has undertaken further education in clinical pilates, integrating its principles into her treatment approaches. These principles she finds effective in the context of managing complex hip pathologies and in treating those with hypermobility to build body awareness, strength and control.
As a GLA:D (Good Life with Arthritis: Denmark) certified practitioner, Samantha enjoys delivering evidence-based programs for those with hip and knee osteoarthritis. She supports and guides individuals through all stages of their condition from pre-operative preparation to structured post‑operative rehabilitation following joint replacement surgery. She focuses on education, progressive exercise loading and functional movement re-training to help individuals return to their meaningful daily activities.
Samantha particularly likes working with paediatric patients with musculoskeletal injuries, assisting with post-operative care, injury rehabilitation or return to sport planning. She tailors her approach to each child’s unique needs helping them regain confidence in their body and movement.
