APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist

APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Simone’s keen interest in biomechanics and sporting injuries — particularly those involving the shoulder, knee, and hip — has shaped her career as a Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. Her expertise has seen her work across a number of elite sporting environments, including Australian and Victorian Hockey Teams and the Carlton AFLW Football Club. In more recent years, Simone has focused her skills on performance artists of all levels.

Simone completed her Physiotherapy Undergraduate Degree at the University of Melbourne before going on to obtain both a Master of Sports Physiotherapy and a Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at La Trobe University — achievements that led to her APA Titling and recognition of her ongoing dedication to excellence within the profession. She has also been awarded Fellowship of Sports Medicine Australia in recognition of her contributions to sports and exercise medicine in Australia.

Simone has a special interest in the management of hypermobility spectrum disorders and associated conditions (HSD/hEDS, MCAS, POTS, neurodivergence, and dysautonomia), working with hypermobile athletes and everyday individuals to optimise both health and performance. Her approach combines hypermobility-informed assessment, treatment, and programming tailored to the individual’s needs. No matter the condition, Simone is committed to enhancing patient outcomes, improving performance, and supporting every individual to live and move with confidence. Extended hypermobility assessments with Simone are available for the hypermobility community and are required for initial consultation. These hour-long sessions provide comprehensive evaluation of hypermobility and related conditions (i.e. POTS/MCAS etc), along with a personalised management and support plan.
