Melita has extensive experience in hand therapy, having worked in both the public and private health sector in Australia and the UK. In the UK, she managed the London Hand and Wrist Unit, collaborating with top hand and upper limb surgeons to treat elite athletes and musicians. In Australia she managed the Hand and Upper Limb Centre in Perth working with Perth’s elite hand and upper limb surgeons.

She played a key role in developing the RehabMinder hand therapy app and contributed to the 2021 Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA) National Conference as a member of the Scientific and Conference Committees. Additionally, she has authored hand and upper limb courses for the AHTA.

Melita treats all conditions of the hand and upper limb and has a particular interest in acute hand injuries, sports injuries of the hand and wrist injuries including complex wrist injuries.

Availability: Tuesdays (5.00-7.00pm), Thursdays (5.00-7.00pm).
