Katharine Wrobel (nee Camobreco)
Katharine has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice at Latrobe University. She also has Clinical Pilates training, allowing her to create personalised Pilates programs for her clients. Katharine utilises manual therapy alongside exercise rehabilitation to help her clients achieve their lifestyle and sporting goals.
With experience across a variety of sports, Katharine has previously worked as a Physiotherapist with the Melbourne Knights Men’s NPL1 soccer team, at the Australian All Star Cheerleading Nationals, and at the BMX World Cup. She is currently working as a Physiotherapist for the VFL State League Umpires, where she sees a large amount of running related injuries, such as bone stress injuries and calf strains.
Katharine enjoys treating hip pain, ACL and knee injuries, as well as foot and ankle pain. She also enjoys treating low back pain, including lumbar bone stress injuries and chronic low back pain. Trained to present the Good Living Osteoarthritis Denmark (GLA:D) program Katharine also enjoys creating rehabilitation programs for hip and knee osteoarthritis.
Having previously worked as a personal trainer and gym instructor Katharine has extensive experience with exercise prescription and rehabilitation. As a result, she is passionate about physiotherapy for people who regularly train in gym environments, such as powerlifting, bodybuilding, CrossFit and high intensity training disciplines.
Outside of work Katharine has a passion for strength training, walking her Groodle Monty, and is an avid reader.
Memberships: Australian Physiotherapy Association including Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy group, Sports Medicine Australia.
Availability: Tuesdays (9.00am - 3.30pm), Thursdays (1.30-4.00pm), Fridays (am), Saturdays (am). Telehealth appointments available.
