APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist
Jacob is a Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist who completed his undergraduate Physiotherapy Degree in 2013 and his Masters in Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy in 2022, both at Latrobe University.
Recently Jacob spent 3 years living and working (private practice) in Tokyo, Japan. During this time, he also worked with the Wallabies at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, as well as with professional distance runners preparing for the 2020 Olympics and Broadway performers on tour.
Jacob has a decade of experience working in both basketball and football. He works regularly with Basketball Victoria covering State U/18 and U/16 teams during national tournaments, as well as the Adelaide Lightning (WNBL) for their away games. He also spent several years as Physiotherapist for the Ballarat Miners and Rush NBL1 teams, and other Australian Rules football clubs in the Ballarat League.
He particularly enjoys managing hip and groin pain, knee injuries and pain including post-surgery, and all running related injuries.
Memberships: Australian Physiotherapy Association, Sports Physiotherapy Australia, Australian College of Physiotherapists (MACP).
Availability: Mondays, Tuesdays (till 2pm), Wednesdays (pm), Thursdays (pm), Saturdays (am). Telehealth appointments available.
