With season 3 of the AFLW now complete, we found time to sit down with Alphington Sports Medicine Clinic Physio Simone Muscat to discuss her involvement. How and when did you become involved with the Carlton FC and AFLW? My involvement with Carlton FC started with the Men’s team at
Kay Copeland, one of our most experienced practitioners, is now a Specialist Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist.
In this role she will act as a consultant to current treating practitioners to progress complex conditions.
Physiotherapists Karina Chilman and Madeleine Ellis have just returned from Townsville where they got the sweet taste of success in the form of Australian U18 Basketball Championships gold with the Vic Metro Men’s and Vic Country Women’s teams.
A highly experienced Sports Physiotherapist with a passion for basketball, Steve Evans was one of the founders of Alphington Sports Medicine Clinic. He sadly passed away last year after a long and courageous battle with his health.
Alphington Sports Medicine Physio Madeleine Ellis has just returned from Europe where she got the sweet taste of success in the form of World Championship gold with the Sapphires, Australia’s U17 girls basketball team.
The Australian Men’s Indoor Volleyball Team, The Volleyroos, are currently competing in the Olympic Qualification tournament in Tokyo.
And they are in good hands with talented Melbourne Physiotherapist Darren Austin.
