APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapists

Sarah is a titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist with over 10 years’ experience working in high level sport. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in 2013 and Masters of Sports Physiotherapy degree in 2021, both at La Trobe University. 

Currently the Head Physiotherapist for the Collingwood AFL Women’s team, she has previously consulted with athletes from the Carlton Football Club, Western Bulldogs Football Club, Athletics Victoria, and Western United A-League Club. In addition, she has worked as the Head Physiotherapist for the Victorian Men’s Premier League Team at Powerhouse Hockey Club and the Victorian Indoor Men’s Hockey Team.

Sarah has a special interest in and enjoys treating overuse and tendon injuries, chronic hip and groin pain, ACL rehabilitation, and foot and ankle conditions. She utilises an individual and holistic approach through a combination of detailed movement assessment, biomechanics, strength testing, manual therapy, and exercise-based rehab to help clients achieve their physical goals. 

Her own sporting background in competitive high-level netball assists Sarah in the management and understanding of all elite and recreational athletes wanting to return to their best.

Postgraduate Qualifications: Masters in Sports Physiotherapy

Memberships: Australian Physiotherapy Association, Sports Physiotherapy Association, Sports Medicine Australia.

Availability: Tuesdays (am).
