Sport Australia Hall of Fame has announced seven new Inductees for 2025. Among the diverse list is Alphington Sports Medicine Director Dr Peter Harcourt AM – inducted as a General Member for his contribution to Sport Medicine.
“Peter has worked with numerous sporting codes in Australia and abroad . . . He has provided medical expertise for athletes and sports bodies, undertaken research into a greater understanding of sports medicine practices, and played a key role in developing medical protocols aimed at ensuring the well-being and safety of athletes”
Peter and his wife Katherine established the Clinic (Alphington Sports Medicine) back in 1981 and are both still Directors today. And while we may be a little biased, we think it’s very fitting that he joins sporting royalty in the Hall of Fame!
Managing Director Dr Gaylene McKay said, “This is a very well-deserved induction after decades of incredible service to Sports Medicine”.
